Articulation

1) My argument

I want to argue that SNS should be allowed to use for candidates as election campaign. Candidates can use sns in order to gain votes and communicate with the public. As Internet has been highly advanced and  the number of Internet and sns users has grown dramatically, so we can't ignore its effects and influences. Therefore, I want to emphasize its strong point and it is very close to modern life. 

2) How I found my argument 
My research questions related to Internet were effect of sns and the liberty of expression on Internet. These questions were very close to peoples' life in technology society and is controversial in the legal cycle. Because of these reasons, I do research related to the influence of them. As I continued researching, it seemed obvious that lots of people use Internet and SNS and sns influenced to the public sentiment and it can help the gaining the vote as we can see the occasion of election of Obama.  

3) New research questions 
I have several questions that need to be resolved.
a) How can I prove the effectiveness of sns election campaign in Korea?
b) How I can implicate lots of people will be interested in SNS election campaign 
I'll continue finding the research and internet news that can support my idea. 

4) Connections to the Harvard Sampler 
This argument has some connections to the Harvard Sampler. First, it obviously is directly related to the Internet and liberty of expression on the Internet because sns is the cyber space and the place that people communicate with each other as they express their opinion about the candidates. Second, it has little connection to the human mind because the effect of election campaign through sns is related to moving or preoccupying voters' mind.
